Pathways to Business

First-Year Admission

Prospects applying for first-year admission can select the business major on their UC application.

Transfer-Student Admission

Transfer students can select the business major on their UC application starting with the Fall 2027 admission cycle.

Change of Major

Continuing UC Davis students can apply to any UC Davis major, except the business major, and then change to the business major starting in Fall 2027.

Add a Business-related Minor

Students can apply to any UC Davis major, except the business major, and add one or both of our business-related minors: Accounting or Technology Management.

Business Economics Cluster

UC Davis offers three paths within the Business Economics Cluster for those interested in business management and economics: Economics, Managerial Economics, or Business (pathways above).
