I chose UC Davis for several reasons. First, it has the perfectly balanced, rigorous program for aspiring data science professionals like me. Second, the location allowed me to explore San Francisco while fostering connections in Silicon Valley. Lastly, as an international student, it was important for me to be a part of a graduate school that celebrates diversity as passionately as UC Davis does.

• I love writing poems, and am always looking for inspiration to write poems and rhymes.
• I am proficient in four languages including Hindi, English, Bengali and Assamese.
• I enjoy chips so much that I once had them for breakfast and lunch—it was the happiest day of my life!
