Family Scholarship Program for UC Davis Employees

For immediate family members of a 75% FTE or higher career employees

In recognition of the service given to the people of California, the Graduate School of Management is piloting a scholarship program available to UC Davis, UCOP, UC Law, UCSF OR UCANR immediate family members (spouse, legal domestic partner, biological or adopted child, or stepchild).

The Graduate School of Management offers scholarships to immediate family members of a 75% FTE or higher career employee working at UC Davis, UCOP, UCANR, UC Law or UCSF.

Scholarships can be used for our:

  • Full-Time MBA
  • Bay Area Part-Time MBA
  • Sacramento Part-Time MBA
  • Master of Professional Accountancy
  • Master of Science in Business Analytics
  • In-person Master of Management 

Interested family members should first secure the seat in the class via the general admissions process.

This scholarship program is open to new students ONLY who are applying to start the program in 2024. Please note, this scholarship can be reduced by other funding received from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management. This scholarship is available only for approved Graduate School of Management programs.

Am I eligible?

You could be selected to receive a scholarship if you meet the following criteria:

  • Admitted to one of the eligible UC Davis programs for the upcoming academic year.
  • An immediate family member of a UC Davis, UCOP, UCANR, UC Law or UCSF employee in a 75% FTE or higher career appointment.
  • Have strong academic, leadership and/or professional experiences.
  • Ability to enrich the classroom experience.

How much are the scholarships?

If selected, recipient will receive:

  • For Full-Time MBA the scholarship award is $25,000 per academic year (renewable for one year), for a total of $50,000.
  • For Bay Area Part-Time MBA the scholarship award is $30,000 per academic year (renewable for one year), for a total of $60,000.
  • For Sacramento Part-Time MBA the scholarship award is $25,000 per academic year (renewable for one year), for a total of $50,000.
  • For MSBA, the scholarship award is $30,000 total.
  • For MPAc, scholarship awards range between $20,000 and $27,000. In addition, MPAc provides a robust teaching assistantship offering, with salary and tuition remission benefits.
  • For Master of Management, the scholarship award is $25,000 total.

How do I apply?

  1. Start your application.
  2. In the application, under “Program Information”, select your UC Davis affiliation: UC Davis, UCOP, UC Law, UCSF or UCANR Immediate Family
  3. Then, in the application under “Supplemental Materials”, upload these required scholarship documents:
    • Statement listing the nature of your relationship with the staff or faculty member.
    • Campus family member's employee verification which can be obtained from UC Path or Human Resources.
  4. Submit your application.
