Robert Marquez

A leading expert in banking and corporate finance, Professor Robert Marquez tries to uncover the mechanisms that underlie the behavior of financial institutions. One important focus of his research is the effect low interest rates have on banks and whether they encourage banks to take on more leverage. Marquez joined the Graduate School of Management faculty in July 2012.

Keer Yang’s research interests in fintech and machine learning in finance are inspired by the recent revolution in new technologies that affect both financial markets and academic finance research. Through his research, he seeks to understand how financial technologies could contribute to more efficient, equitable, and inclusive financial markets. 

Ayako Yasuda

Ayako Yasuda is a professor of finance at the Graduate School of Management, University of California, Davis, Fellow of the Muir Institute for the Environment, and Fellow of the Private Equity Research Consortium. In July 2024, she was named the Maurice J. and Marcia G. Gallagher Chair in Finance at UC Davis.
